Katama Creek Farm is a small farm in Groton, Massachusetts, about an hour from Boston. We raise small batches of aquarium livestock and plants, gourmet mushrooms, seed garlic and dahlias for keepers, cooks and gardeners in Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Newton, Waltham, Lexington and Burlington.
Local notes
The MWRA water that serves most of Greater Boston is very soft and disinfected with chloramine. Use a chloramine-rated conditioner, and raise GH for shrimp; our water guide explains how. We ship livestock early in the week, and plants, cultures and kits any day.
