Privacy Policy

Version 2026-10-29. This policy describes how Katama Creek Farm of Groton, Massachusetts ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through katamacreek.com, our reservation list, emails and sales. Our Terms of Use and Sale also apply.

1. What we collect

What you give us: name, email, phone, shipping or pickup details, what you want to reserve or buy, messages, and, for stores and clubs, business details.
Purchase data: what you reserved or bought and when. If we take card payments, they are handled by our payment providers; we do not receive or store full card numbers.
Automatic data: our web server logs IP addresses, browser type, pages requested and referring links. We also use Umami, a cookieless analytics tool that we host ourselves, to record visits, pages viewed, referring sites, device, browser and country, and how visitors use the Site: the links and buttons clicked (including the website a link leads to), that a form was submitted (not what was typed into it), and the words entered in any site search. It does not set cookies, does not store your full IP address, does not track you across other sites, and the data is not shared with any analytics company. The Site does not set advertising or tracking cookies.

2. How we use it

To manage reservations, orders, pickups and shipping; to tell you when stock is ready; to answer questions; to send our list emails and offers, which you can unsubscribe from at any time; to understand and improve the Site; to prevent fraud; and to comply with law.

3. How we share it

With carriers, email and hosting providers, and payment or analytics providers if we use them, that help us operate; with authorities where the law requires; and with a successor if the farm's business is transferred. We do not sell personal information.

4. Your choices and rights

Unsubscribe using the link in any email. You may ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing us; we may keep order records the law requires.

5. Retention and security

We keep order and list records while they are useful for the purposes above and as tax law requires, then delete them. We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure.

6. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
