The Leopard Cactus pleco (L114, also LDA007) is Pseudacanthicus cf. leopardus, collected mostly in the Rio Demini in Brazil's Rio Negro basin. It isn't confirmed as the true P. leopardus, which was described from the Rupununi River in Guyana.

It's a big fish, to about 25 cm standard length, and needs a large tank, at least 180 × 60 cm, set up like a flowing river. Keep it at 24–30 °C and pH 5.5–7.5. In a New England winter a tank in a cool room needs a reliable heater to hold that range.

It spawns in caves, with the male guarding the brood, and it has been bred in aquariums.
