Siberian seed garlic

Reserve or join the waitlist

Siberian is a marbled purple stripe hardneck, described by one grower as Metechi's mild-mannered cousin. It's mild raw and rich and musky cooked, is harvested in mid-summer and stores through the winter.

It has a reputation for toughness: one grower saw it barely touched in a grasshopper plague that wiped out 24,000 plants of other varieties.

Plant cloves in Massachusetts from mid-October to early November; see our garlic planting guide.
