Green Jade shrimp

Green Jade is an opaque, forest-green Neocaridina davidi bred mainly in Taiwan. Low grades are translucent with a green tint; top grades are deep, opaque green from nose to tail, legs included.

A dark substrate deepens the colour. Keep it apart from other colours, or offspring drift back to brown within a few generations.

Keeping Green Jade shrimp in New England water

Like every Neocaridina, it needs a cycled tank, GH around 6–8 and a stable pH near neutral. Most Massachusetts tap and well water is soft, so check yours with the shrimp water checker or read our New England water guide. Pickup in Groton by arrangement, or shipped Monday to Wednesday.
