Crystal Red shrimp (CRS) are red-and-white banded Caridina, descended from a red mutation of the bee shrimp found in Japan. Grades run from A and S up to SS and SSS, as the white becomes more solid and the red shrinks to small patches.

Pattern names such as Hinomaru (a red dot on a white head), Mosura and No Entry describe the higher grades. Keep them in soft, acidic water over active soil.
