Tangerine Tiger shrimp

Tangerine Tiger is a slightly translucent orange shrimp with dark reddish-brown to black stripes and dots, growing to about 1.5 inches. A deeper peachy-orange form is sold as "Blood Shot".

It was long sold as Caridina serrata, but genetic tests place it in C. cantonensis, the bee shrimp group, rather than with true Tiger shrimp. It can hybridise with bee and Tiger shrimp, so keep it apart from them.

It's one of the easier Caridina: roughly pH 6.5–7.5, GH 4–8 and KH 1–2, at 65–75 °F.
